MallorcAlpina operates with the travel company of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands: AVBAL / 784 and with the active tourism registration number of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands: TA / 29 / BAL
1. GENERAL
This document establishes the General Conditions of use of the services provided through this website www.mallorcalpina.com (hereinafter called “the Company”). It reserves the right to periodically modify and update the conditions on this page, without obligation to notify them in advance to its users. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. These terms and conditions, together with our privacy policy and any other written information that is issued prior to confirming your booking, form the basis of your contract with the Company: MALLORCALPINA AVBAL / 784. Please read them carefully, as they establish our respective rights and obligations.
By sending us your initial deposit as a reservation for organized tours with a guide or self-guided (from here on called “the Tour”), or in ecotourism, multi-experience or active tourism activities (from here on called “the Activity”), or where appropriate, the full payment in last minute bookings, confirms your acceptance of the following terms and conditions, which are automatically considered incorporated into the contract, without being indicated in writing.
2a. CONFIRMATION OF THE BOOKING AND PAYMENT IN THE SERVICE TOUR (from two days or more)
a. Booking: the client must pay a deposit of 25% of the total cost (minimum € 100) of the tour, to proceed with the booking.
b. Reduced mobility: In the case of people with reduced mobility, before proceeding with the booking request, the Company must be informed of any health issue or condition at the time of the booking if it is considered (with regard to your safety and enjoyment, and that of those around you) that such a condition would likely affect your ability to participate safely in any activity then we may not accept the booking. If, during the booking process any new information – or any change to health or fitness – is disclosed which would affect your ability to participate safely, we reserve the right to amend or cancel your booking. Such an amendment or cancellation would be regarded as a cancellation by the client.
c. Booking confirmation: Once we receive the deposit, we will send you a written confirmation by email, with the details of your booking, including your itinerary, the start date, the total cost and when the outstanding balance is due. The booking will have full effect only once the Company confirms it in writing on receipt of the deposit.
d. Late booking: Within 30 calendar days of the start of your tour, the booking becomes a late booking. Full payment is required at the time of booking your tour to proceed with the booking and confirmation. You can book your tour at any time up to 7 calendar days before departure, subject to availability.
e. Late booking conditions: We do not charge additional administrative charges for late bookings. However, we recommend that you book your trip well in advance to ensure that you get the best preparation in important aspects of your vacation.
f. Minimum of people: Group travel prices are calculated with a minimum of people. In case the minimum that appears in the description of the tour is not reached, an alteration of the price or cancellation of the tour will take place. Changes to the tour conditions and options must be communicated to travellers at least 10 days in advance.
2b. CANCELLATIONS
Conditions of cancellation by the client in the Tour service:
At any time, the client can withdraw from the services requested or contracted, having the right to a refund, wheter from the total price or payment provided in the preceding section. The client must notify us of any cancellation to the customer service email info@mallorcalpina.com or through a text message via SMS or WhatsApp to the number +34 699109133. Your notification of cancellation will only be effective when we receive this written notification. Unless the cancellations occurs due to force majeure, all cancellations and no-shows are subject to the following non-refundable cancellation charges:
More than 30 days prior to tour: A penalty consisting of 25% (minimum € 100) of the total cost of the tour.
Between 29 and 12 days prior to tour: A penalty consisting of 50% of the total cost of the tour.
Between 11 and 8 days prior to tour: A penalty consisting of 60% of the total cost of the tour.
Between 7 days and 48 hours prior to tour: A penalty consisting of 75% of the total cost of the tour.
Less than 48 hours prior to tour: A penalty consisting of 100% of the total cost of the tour if the withdrawal occurs within 48 hours before the start date of the tour or no-show.
Once the booking is confirmed, any change such as dates, inclusion of person/s or any other amendments that may incur expenses and/or procedures for the company, may be subject to additional charges.
If you or a member of your party is prevented from travelling due to death, accident or serious illness and are therefore unable to take part in the tour, and communicating with the Company prior to the start of the tour is an impossibility, official documents by a public authority must be provided.
If one or more participants cancel, the same penalties will be applied based on their total costs, depending on when it occurs and following the points aforementioned.
3a. CONFIRMATION OF THE BOOKING AND PAYMENT IN THE ACTIVITY SERVICE (from half to a day)
a. Booking: At the time of the booking confirmation, the client must pay a deposit of 50% of the total cost of each activity to proceed with the booking.
b. Reduced mobility: In the case of people with reduced mobility, before proceeding to request the booking, they must inform the Company of this situation, in order to assess the viability of contracting the activity according to the characteristics of the same.
c. Booking confirmation: Once we receive the deposit, we will send you a written confirmation by email, with the details of your booking, including your itinerary, the start date and time, meeting point, the total cost, the outstandingbalance and when it is due. The outstanding balance. The booking will have full effect only once the Company confirms it in writing. For confirmation, the user agrees to send proof of payment to the Agency
d. Late booking: Within 9 calendar days until the start of your activity, the bookings becomes a late booking. Full payment is required at the time of booking you activity to proceed with the booking and confirmation. You can book your activity at any time up to 48 hours before departure, subject to availability.
e. Late booking conditions: We do not charge additional administrative charges for late bookings. However, we recommend that you book your activity well in advance to ensure availability for all the members of your group.
3b. CANCELLATIONS
Conditions of cancellation by the client in the Activity service:
At any time, the client can withdraw from the services requested or contracted, having the right to a refund, whether from the total price or payment provided in the preceding section. 9 or more days before the activity: No charges. You can cancel or change the booking or part of it without charge,
Between 9 and 7 days before the start of activity: A penalty consisting of 25% of the total amount of the activity.
Between 6 days and 48 hours before the start of the activity: A penalty consisting of 50% of the total amount of the activity.
Less than 48 hours: A penalty consisting of 75% of the total amount, if the withdrawal occurs within 48 hours before the start date of the activity.
No-show: A penalty consisting of 100% of the total amount, in case of no-show.
If one or more participants cancel, the same penalties will be applied based on their total costs, depending on when it occurs and following the points aforementioned.
Any change that may incur expenses and/or procedures for the Company, once the booking is established and communicated less than 9 calendar days before the start date of the activity, may be subject to additional charges.
If you or a member of your party is prevented from travelling due to death, accident or serious illness and are therefore unable to take part in the activity and communicating with the Company prior to the start of the activity is an impossibility, official documents by a public authority must be provided.
The Compàny reserves the right to make a last minute change to shorten, postpone or cancel an activity, due to adverse weather conditions or an official regional or national govermment or meteorological alerts which may have an impact on our own health and safety criteria.
4. CANCELLATION OF THE TOUR OR ACTIVITY BY THE ORGANIZER
If the Company cancels the tour or activity for reasons not attributable to the client, it must reimburse all the payments made by the client within a period not exceeding 14 calendar days from the cancellation.
The Company will not be responsible for paying any additional compensation to the traveller if the cancellation is due to the Company finding it impossible to carry out the tour or activity booked due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances and the cancellation is notified to the client without undue delay before the start of the tour or activity.
5. PRICES
The price of the tour and activity contracted on the mallorcalpina.com website is based on the services and dates selected by the user, and will depend on the number of people included in the booking.
It is the responsibility of the user to review the sections of the offer “the price includes” and “price does not include”, before completing the purchase process. All the services included in the booking are accurately detailed.
All prices, including the invoice issued by the Company, will always be in Euros and with VAT included.
Payments will be made by bank transfer.

7. RELATIONSHIPS WITH INDEPENDENT SUPPLIERS
We act only as intermediaries for the providers of accommodation, land and sea transport, car rental, tour guides, restaurants and activities that are not owned by the Company, that is, providers that are independent. While we make all reasonable efforts to choose quality providers, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to you or your companions, participants, animals, etc. as a result of any act or omission of these providers, their employees, agents, servers or representatives.
8. INSURANCE IN THE TOUR SERVICE
All customers must have travel insurance in the tour service. We recommend that it is a full insurance and includes cancellation insurance, and that it be adapted to the type of tour you are going to make. We will require a copy of your insurance policy and number.
9. LAW AND JURISDICTION
You understand and accept that these terms an conditions and all matters derived from them are subject to Spanish law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts, with specific resolution in the city of Palma de Mallorca.
